Most organizations respond to situational analytics demands (meaningful use, regulatory, quality, productivity) rather than developing a comprehensive, coordinated and forward looking analytics capability. We’ll explore methods to establish and maintain a high performance analytics capability in your organization through thoughtful planning, technology alignment and successful execution. We’ll examine the following:
- The current environment for business and clinical analytics. How Meaningful Use, Accountable Care Organizations, other value-based purchasing programs, and patient centered medical homes are having an impact.
- How to make a plan. Successfully integrating analytics capabilities into your organization’s comprehensive long-range plan.
- Establishing staying power. How to manage proper governance and support around new and existing business and clinical analytics programs.
- Finding the right vendors. How to select analytics vendors that deliver maximum value.
- Making sure your programs fit. Implementing business and clinical analytics around your existing EHR/Practice Management systems.
